One suffers minor burns as crews called to Redruth house fire
Firefighters were called to Chapel Row, Redruth, yesterday morning after a report of a fire in a home.
Appliances from Redruth, Camborne and Truro were mobilised just after 11.30am and found a fire in the ground floor kitchen of a terraced property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished the fire using a high pressure hosereel.
The fire involved the cooker.
Westcountry Ambulance were requested and attended and treated one male casualty for minor burns.
