Staff evacuated a factory in Redruth in the early hours of this morning after a machine caught fire.
Fire engines from the stations were called just before 5.30am to the blaze at an industrial estate, first by the factory's fire alarm company, then by staff on site, who were advised to evacuate immediately.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Upon arrival, crews used two breathing apparatuses, small gear, a 135 ladder and a thermal imaging camera to check that the fire was completely out."
