Police in Cornwall are appealing for witnesses after a crash on the A30.
The incident occurred on the A30 westbound between the Tolvaddon and Treswithian turn off, between 9am and 9.30am on Monday, December 8.
The collision involved a blue coloured Vauxhall Zafiro motor vehicle, being driven by a woman.
She was accompanied by her partner and two young children.
The vehicle which was travelling west on the A30 at the time hit the central reservation and did a U turn ending up in the outer lane facing east bound.
Fortunately oncoming vehicles were alert and avoided what could have potentially been a serious collision. No one was injured.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision and in particular two female drivers who stopped in a nearby lay- by to assist.
