Firefighters were called to Bucketts Hill, Redruth, on Friday after crash involving a car and a lorry left one casualty trapped in the wreckage.
Appliances from Camborne and Redruth, together with the rescue tender from Camborne, attended just before 6pm and found a two vehicle collision involving a car and a heavy goods lorry.
A fire and rescue service spokesman said that one man was trapped in the car and firefighters used crash rescue equipment to release him.
He was left in the care of ambulance personnel.
