A drink driver was caught with more than three times the limit of alcohol in his breath after police were warned he had been seen weaving all over the road in a car at Camborne.
They traced the vehicle and stopped it and Colin Toy, 61, of Bridge Road, Illogan failed a roadside breath test, later registering 113 mcg.
Probation officer Gail O’Hagan told Truro magistrates he had a number of issues with alcohol misuse and was prepared to have help with them.
Toy, a retired man, was banned from driving for 28 months and fined £140 with £105 costs and surcharge.
