Police investigating a sexual assault on a woman in Hayle in the early hours of Christmas day are appealing for a witness to come forward.
The 30-year-old woman from Newquay was getting a lift home when the male driver of the car sexually assaulted her. She managed to get out of the car before the man drove off.
The incident happened near Asda in Carnsew Road between midnight and 3am on Thursday, December 25. 2014.
Officers are keen to trace the driver of a white van, who had a dog with him, who may have witnessed part of the incident.
