Police are investigating an allegation of sexual assault that took place in Pool at the end of January.
On Wednesday, January 28, a woman was walking along Trevithick Road when she was approached by a man asking for directions.
The woman spoke to the man who left the area but then a few moments later returned and groped her.
The woman was left shaken but unhurt.
Police said: "The suspect is described as a white man, approx 5'8" to 5'9" tall, of muscular build and spoke with a ‘local’ accent.
"He was aged in his mid twenties, had stubble on his chin and was wearing a grey, plain hoody and dark bottoms."
