The family of a man who died six weeks after a crash in Redruth have paid tribute to a 'well loved' family man who adored his wife, daughters and grand daughters.

Clarence Michael Langman, age 80, died on 21st February following the collision near Redruth.

His family have released the following words: "In loving memory, of a husband to Joyce; father to Lynn and Claudette; and grandfather to Emma and Shannon.

"Clarence Michael Langman was a well-loved man by many and was taken from the world too soon. Out of his 80 years he spent 60 of those loving Joyce and they loved each other more each day than the last.

"His girls, he adored and would do anything for them – they were treasured by him.

"He was a family man, and put everyone first before himself. Even in his last days he was more focused on Joyce and his girls than himself. He fought as hard as he could till the very end; but in the end he lost the battle against the injuries suffered in a tragic car accident on Buller Hill, Redruth on January 9.

"After six long weeks, with his family by his side, he told everyone he loved them and then took his last breath."
