Happy Days Nursery at Treloweth is thrilled to receive its third "outstanding" judgement from Ofsted. Since the nursery opened in 2004 it has consistently achieved the highest ranking from Ofsted.

Nursery manager, Vicki Roberts-Gill, said: "This rare event is testament to the hard work and commitment of my fantastic team, many of whom have been with me since the nursery first opened. Our focus is always doing the very best we can for our children and their families and it is always wonderful when a regulatory body independently recognise this."

The Ofsted Inspector reflected that staff are extremely pro-active in developing highly effective partnerships with parents and that children make rapid progress because staff have a very good understanding of how children learn. Staff promote children’s health extremely well, encourage outdoor play and provide nutritious meals. The inspector praised the whole team saying that they continually strive for improvement.

Karen Brokenshire, head teacher of Treloweth School, added: "We are delighted that Happy Days Treloweth have achieved the recognition they deserve. They are an excellent nursery and provide children with a very good start to their learning."
