CHILDREN at the Happy Days Nursery at Treloweth spent the half term week experiencing a Forest School. They took part in activities such as den building, fire lighting and cooking over it, using tools to cut and carve wood and learning all about our natural world.
Forest School takes the children into their natural surroundings and helps them to really learn all about it. It also gives them opportunities to take calculated risks and experience things and use tools which they may not otherwise get the chance. The children have had great fun all week and are all looking forward to future sessions.
