Police in Camborne are asking the public to keep an eye out for six chocolate tins which were taken during a burglary in Troon last month.

Officers investigating the burglary, which took place between midday on Friday June 26 and 2pm on Sunday June 28, are looking for the tins which are reported to have contained cash.

A police spokesperson said: "The tins are family sized, circular chocolate or biscuit tins, and may have remnants of brown parcel tape around the rim.

"Investigating officers believe that the tins may have been disposed of together and regardless of the time that has passed, police would ask that if found, the items are not handled to allow for forensic examination."

Police would like to hear from anyone who finds the tins or from anyone who has inexplicably come into possession of a large sum of cash.
