Police in Camborne are appealing for witnesses after a young boy had his arm broken in a disagreement during a football game.

Officers are investigating the incident which is believed to have occurred on the Illogan Sports Ground at around 6.30pm on Saturday August 1.

A police spokesperson said: "A group of boys aged around 12-13 were playing football during which a disagreement occurred.

"An older boy became involved and pushed the victim aged 12 years to the floor and then kicked him in the stomach, head and arms.

"The victim of this assault sustained a broken arm and required hospital treatment."

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have either witnessed the incident or knows the identity of any of those involved.
