Police are investigating a suspected arson following a fire at a house in Tehidy Road, Camborne, on Sunday evening.
Two fire engines from Tolvaddon were set to the blaze, on the ground floor of a two storey semi-detached property, at a little after 8.30pm.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building with high pressure hosereels to extinguish the fire which was believed to have started in the hallway, a thermal imaging camera and extension ladder was also used at the scene."
Devon & Cornwall police were in attendance, and a full fire investigation is expected to take place this morning.
