Redruth-based Coastline Services has appointed Karen Biggs as its new general manager.
Karen has worked in construction within Cornwall for over ten years and before this she was involved in recycling and waste management within the public sector. At Coastline Services, Karen will be heading up a team of around 75 staff, providing a range of repairs, property and grounds maintenance services to both Coastline Housing customers and external clients.
She said: “I’ve always enjoyed working in the construction industry, particularly within Cornwall, so was excited at the prospect of taking on such an important role at Coastline. I look forward to getting out and about in Coastline’s communities over the coming weeks and months to meet more of our customers, partners and clients.”
Karen is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, an Incorporated Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, a qualified Construction Manager and Project Manager. Coastline Services is the subsidiary of social landlord Coastline Housing, providing a range of property and grounds maintenance services to a number of private and commercial clients.
