A former Truro schoolboy has won a double-header of awards after graduating from Buckinghamshire New University.

Bradley Rolling, 22, of Henley Crescent, Mount Hawke, gained first-class honours degree in audio and media production at the University in High Wycombe. Bradley, who attended Truro and Penwith College, in Truro, also won awards from leading music equipment manufacturer Focusrite and top retailer, Richer Sounds.

The Focusrite award was for work completed with course mates Alexander Robins and Conor McNulty producing tracks for up-and-coming singer/songwriter Hannah Wells. The Richer Sounds Award was recognition for the high standard of production work he produced over the course of his degree.

He said: β€œIt feels great to win the awards as we worked really hard on the production for the Focusrite award and individually for me from Richer Sounds. I love every aspect of audio and music production and work really hard to improve my skills throughout my degree.

β€œI am now working on producing tracks for Jamal Dayekh, a new artist based in Texas, and will be entering the studio soon to record with Oceans, an up-and-coming band who have had a really busy year playing shows across the UK.”

Bradley also won a scholarship in his first year from another leading audio manufacturer, Sennheiser UK Ltd, based on the high standard of his academic performance.
