Redruth based Coastline Housing has just received re-accreditation with the prestigious Investors in People Gold standard.
The award is based on what staff at Coastline say about working for the social landlord. It is a respected stamp of quality in people management. Assessors spoke with staff across the business, which including subsidiary Coastline Services, employs more than 200 people in Cornwall.
Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: "We’d like to congratulate Coastline Housing on achieving the Gold standard. Such a high level of accreditation is the sign of great people management practice and demonstrates a commitment to staff development, showing an organisation committed to being the very best it can be. Coastline Housing should be extremely proud of its achievement."
Coastline Housing’s chief executive, Allister Young, said: “To receive Gold re-accreditation from Investors in People is an honour which really reflects our commitment to our mission. To provide great homes and great services for our customers we need to ensure great people work here. The Gold standard shows just how much care we take to attract the best staff and provide the right training and opportunities for all our colleagues.”
Coastline Housing is an independent, not-for-profit housing association owning and managing over 4,000 homes. In the past year it has won a number of national awards for its commitment to ongoing improvements in service provision and the quality of homes.
