Police searching for a woman missing from her Redruth home since Thursday have found a body at Portreath.
Lucy Teuton, 36, went missing at around 4.30pm in circumstances which police said caused officers and her family to be concerned for her welfare.
It was confirmed on Sunday that officers searching the Portreath area for Lucy had recovered a body from the bottom of some cliffs.
A police spokesperson said the coastguard identified an object in the water at around 4.30pm on Saturday, and it was later confirmed that there was a body in the water.
The body has yet to be identified, and police are appealing for information from anybody who was in the area between Hells Mouth and Portreath between Friday and Sunday.
Anyone with information should call 101, quoting log 669 of November 12.
