JANITORIAL supply company Nicholson’s South West have been keen to offer some help to victims of the recent Cumbria Flood Appeal by donating a whole pallet of centre feed blue roll to aid the clean up process.

Nicholson’s have dedicated December to a 12 Days of Christmas campaign where they’re going out into the community to undertake acts of good will.

The 12 days also include a donation of Christmas goodies for the pets at NAWT and some time spent volunteering there, a Christmas cracker donation to Pool and Redruth Foodbank, a sponsored pyjama day, a mini beach clean, Christmas jumper day for Text Santa, a visit to the Perran Bay Care Home with pets dressed up in Christmas outfits, a donation of knitted gloves and mittens to Newquay Pre-school, a donation to Truro Foodbank and a cake sale for Hayle Hospice.

Nicholson’s Regional Sales Manager Annabel Barrington-Hartley said: ‘At Nicholson’s we want to support local businesses, charities and other worthy causes, especially at Christmas time. The events we’ve got planned are fun and will hopefully help people and animals a lot at this time of year.’

‘When we heard about the Cumbria Flood Appeal we wanted to get involved with that too and it’s been a pleasure to help good causes in December. We’ve really enjoyed it and there are some great events still to come.’

The Cumbria Flood Appeal donation fell on the same day as the Nicholson’s pyjama day; so the team sent off the pallet of blue roll dressed in their finest onesies.
