A car is reported to have gone over the edge of a cliff at Portreath this afternoon, prompting a major rescue operation.
Police, ambulance, fire service and coastguards were all scrambled at around 2.45pm, with the search and rescue helicopter also thought to be involved.
The circumstances leading up to the incident at Lighthouse Hill are not currently clear.
