A REDRUTH man accused of murdering the youngest serving soldier in Afghanistan has been found guilty by a jury at Truro Crown Court.
Connor Hammond, 21, killed Illogan soldier Dave Curnow, 20, during a brawl in the early hours of September 20 last year.
Another man Connor Hammond, 21, from Chacewater has already pleaded guilty to murdering Mr Curnow.
The jury in the case went out late yesterday afternoon and returned with its verdict just after 2pm this afternoon.
It is understood that both men will be sentenced today.
