Police are appealing for helping in tracking down the man who stole a handbag from a 70-year-old woman in Redruth.
Police are investigating the robbery of the pensioner which took place at around 3.30pm on Friday, July 1, at the junction of Fore Street and Alma Place.
A man approached the woman from behind and took her handbag, causing her an arm injury which required hospital treatment.
A member of the public chased the man and managed to recover the bag and its contents but the identity of the man who took it remains unknown. He is described as white, of heavy build with a paunch wearing a blue or slate grey hooded top.
