A charity castaway has raised thousands for Cornwall Hospice care with an auction and a two night stay on Gull Rock, a small and desolate island off the coast near Portreath.
Castaway and auctioneer Lee Hodge collected £2,425.00 in support of the charity.
He thanked the Bassett Arms and the Portreath Arms for their support, as well as 'Little Kev' for a sponsored head shave which helped with the fundraising.
Lee chose to raise funds for Cornwall Hospice Care after losing his stepfather to cancer, and so far has made over £3,000 for the charity.
