Police in Camborne are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old girl was "intimidated" by two men as she walked to school, two days in a row last week.

Both incidents are said to have taken place between 8am and 8.25am outside the gates of Camborne Parish Church, on Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29.

Officers say that on each occasion the girl was "verbally intimidated" by the men, who she did not know. On the first occasion her rucksack was taken from her and searched by one of the men without her permission, before a member of the public intervened.

The men are described by police as both being approximately between 15 to 17 years old, and were dressed differently each day. Both had dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed either of the incidents, and particularly from the member of the public who intervened on the first occasion.
