Featuring an array of stalls with local makers, artists and creators the hugely popular market that is Roots Culture Summer Market is coming to Mount Pleasant Eco Park in Porthtowan on the Sunday, May 13, from 11am to 4pm.

Bringing an explosion of music and food together with gorgeous local, ethically produced goods.

This free event is held under a stunning covered atrium and inside a timber framed barn. With stalls selling a breath-taking range from jewellery, recycled crafts, clothing and skincare to plants, felt hats, music, books and so much more.

This year, the markets will have their first ever food market.

Featuring Tropical Pressure food vendors who will appear at the festival in July, the markets will offer a taster of what to expect from the international music festival. ]

100% veggie and vegan delights will be served from Lafafa Catering, El Huichol and Flour Power Pizza Parlour.

The famous La Cantina café will also be open serving vegetarian and vegan cakes, coffee and teas. and the Vegan pasty co will be warming up their vegan pasties.

The Eco Park’s not for profit arm, Down to Earth Foundation will be in the Community Gardens, hosting a seed swap, selling organic produce grown at the Eco Park and answering any questions you might have about sustainable living.

The kids can be entertained with storytelling in the red geodome and a fun trail which explores the whole beautiful site, nestled on the cliffs above Porthtowan.

Tropical Pressure Sound System will be in attendance playing some choice tunes. Featuring Reggae, soul and funk, the sound track to your day.

There will be pop up music acts including folk music and a healing sound concert in the Eco Park amphitheatre.

With ample free parking, dog friendly grounds, laid back atmosphere, music and delicious food.

The Roots Culture Summer Markets will take place on the May 13, June 24 and August 26.
