Four teenagers have been arrested after a man was seriously injured in an attack in Redruth town centre.
Police say that the man in his fifties was assaulted on Fore Street, leading into Almer Place, at around 9.30 pm on Sunday, May 15.
The man, in his fifties, has serious head injuries and police say he was taken to hospital, where he remains.
A 15 year old boy, a 16 year old girl and two girls aged 15 are being held in police custody at Camborne police station in connection with the investigation into the attack.
A police spokesman said that officers from Cornwall’s major crime investigation team and local CID are investigating the incident and would like to hear from anyone in the area around the time of the incident who may have information that could help officers.
