The public can have their say on the controversial bid to build a Premier Inn at a public meeting on Monday, November 12, in Falmouth.
Cornwall Council has arranged the public meeting for 6pm at Falmouth School, Trescobeas Road, Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 4LH.
Members of the Council’s Strategic Planning Committee say they want to listen to public opinion on the planning application (PA12/04039).
The company wants to build a new 74 bedroom hotel with associated restaurant and car parking facilities on the car park site, Campbeltown Way, Port Pendennis, Falmouth.
Everyone is welcome and will be able to register their desire to speak.
A council spokesman said that the public meeting is an opportunity for Councillors to hear from local people on all sides of the debate adding, "no decision will be taken on the day".
The planning applications will be considered by the strategic Planning Committee at a future meeting (which will be webcast live on the Cornwall Council website) to be held at County Hall in Truro on a date to be agreed.
