Pupils, parents and staff helped raise a fantastic £1,338 at last week’s King Charles School autumn fair The event on Thursday saw plenty of fun games, food, refreshments and even the chance to chuck a wet sponge at a teacher.
There was a raft of stalls, which included books, toys, plants, a second hand uniform sale alongside face painting, glittery tattoos, hook a duck, and the popular splat a rat. Pupils and parents were also busy in the kichen beforehand, making cakes and savoury items for the food stall.
With the school thanking everyone involved who made it such a success, a school spokesman said: “We had a fabulous autumn fair with lots of lovely stalls, activities and games, all manned by PTA members and staff.
“I am delighted to say we raised a total of £1,338.61. Thank you so much, especially to our fantastic PTA who do so much work behind the scenes. You are our unsung heroes.”
