Former pupils of the old Traboe School have reunited to share memories and see how the building has changed over the last 70 years.

Once a primary school, the building has long been converted into a |house, now known as The Old School, following the closure of the school|in 1943/44 – 60 years after it opened in 1884.

Among the group were two evacuees, Lee Humphrey, originally from Tottenham and now living in Buckinghamshire, and ‘Billy’ Bartlett from Plymouth, who both attended the school during the Second World War.

They all enjoyed reminiscing on old times and catching up with friends, some of which they had not seen since childhood.
