A lecturer at the University of Exeter has been fined for failing to give information after being caught by a speed camera.
Dr Ilya Maclean, aged 39, of The Gue, Porthleven, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates’ Court to failing to give information of a driver’s identity following a speed camera recording in February.
He was fined £650 and £150 costs and surcharge.
Maclean told the magistrates he had failed to receive notification of the offence because he had moved address several times and failed to notify the DVLA.
