Penryn traffic delays expected in run-up to Christmas
Motorists in Penryn are being warned of likely delays until just before Christmas due to roadworks on The Praze.
This morning work was being carried out on Commercial Road, near to Jubilee wharf, with stop and go traffic controls in place just before the traffic lights at the junction with Quay Hill.
Remedial work on a previous South West Water repair is due to start outside Trelawney Cottage on December 19, and to continue until December 23.
Delays are expected from this work, with a give and take traffic control system in place.
BT will also be carrying out work to replace a pole on Bohelland Road on December 19, also until December 23, with traffic controls , although no delays are expected.
