Plans to build two cottages to the rear of 6 Berkeley Vale in Falmouth are being opposed by the town’s planning committee on the grounds of overdevelopment.
Committee chairman, Grenville Chappel, said: “It literally takes up the whole of the back garden,” while Councillor Rowenna Brock added: “I know we need housing but is this not overdevelopment? Where is the amenity space?”
Councillors will recommend that Cornwall Council refuses the outline planning application which has been submitted by Mr and Mrs Chard of Budock Water.
