Firefighters spent well over an hour tackling a blaze which spread from two caravans to a nearby shed in Troon yesterday afternoon.
Two fire engines from Camborne with ten firefighters and one from Helston with six firefighters were sent to reports of two caravans on fire at around 1.40pm.
A fire service spokesperson said: "On the crews approach they reported that there was lots of black smoke coming from the area.
"Two static caravans were well alight on crew’s arrival; the fire had spread to a large shed measuring 15 x 20 metres."
The firefighters used two breathing apparatuses, two hose reels and one main jet to fight the fire, and were still on scene nearly two hours later at 3.22pm.
