The New Inn at Manaccan was full to bursting for the visit of author Liz Fenwick who has just published her fourth book Under a Cornish Sky.
Liz, who splits her time between living in Dubai and Manaccan, said: "My heart is forever in Cornwall, creating new stories.” All her books feature the area around Manaccan and the Helford so there was Cornish cider and apple juice together with a selection of Cornish cheeses to emphasise the local connection.
Alice Harandon, manager of St Ives Bookseller, was there selling the new book and Liz’s pen was kept busy writing messages and signing the books. She also read a short passage from the new book to whet everyone’s appetite. All her books are available at all good booksellers.
The New Inn re-opened in March after it was sold by Punch Taverns to a co-operative society formed by residents and friends of Manaccan.
