Helston-based Frugi, one of the UK’s fastest growing organic children's-wear brands, has been shortlisted in the small to medium-sized business of the year category in the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. Having recently scooped gold for "best ethical brand" in the recent Loved By Parents Awards and being announced as a finalist in the PWC West of England Awards, to be recognised for such a significant award again is a fantastic achievement for Frugi, which celebrated its tenth year in business last year.

Co-founder Lucy Jewson said: “It’s certainly been an exciting couple of months for the Frugi team. We are truly honoured to have been shortlisted in the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. To have watched our business grow at such a tremendous rate over the past eleven years has been overwhelming. We are all extremely proud of what we have achieved so far and to be recognised for such respected awards is so encouraging. We are keeping everything crossed."

An all encompassing range of industries are represented in the shortlists for this year’s awards, with companies from recruitment and children’s clothing, to pet food and online marketing being selected for the chance to win an award.

Finalists were chosen from the hundreds of businesses that entered or were nominated across 18 award categories. They will now prepare for live presentations to expert judges who will decide the overall winners that will be revealed at an awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on November 10.
