Falmouth RNLI's volunteer crew rescued three women and a dog after they became stuck at the bottom of a cliff at Portscatho on Saturday.
Falmouth Coastguard called the RNLI, as well as Portscatho Coastguard Cliff Recue Team, just before 4pm, after the group became trapped on the shore below the Portscatho National Coastwatch station at Pednvaden, near Porthcurnic Beach.
An RNLI spokesperson said: "The mother and daughter along with her friend had been exploring the coastline with their dog when they found that they were unable to make their way back up the cliff, so had requested assistance."
After rounding Zone Point, the boat headed up to the east and arrived on scene at 4.15pm, and a crew member was landed onto the rocks to brief the group before they were taken onboard, and taken to Portscatho where they were safely landed into the care of the coastguard team.
