Falmouth lifeboats rescued a motor boat on Saturday after it suffered an electrical failure in the Carrick Roads between St Mawes and St Just.
The RNLI volunteer crew was called by Falmouth Coastguard at around 10.15pm to help the seven metre Sandpiper, with two people on board.
The boat had suffered a complete electrical failure, stopping the engine from working, and the owner had used his mobile phone to call for help.
An RNLI spokesperson said: "After a short search the boat was located at 10.30pm in the middle of the Carrick Roads and was towed to Mylor Harbour where it was safely secured to the slipway pontoon.
