Edwina Owen, 61, of Greenbottom, Chacewater, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates’ Court to speeding on the A39 in December when she drove at 75 mph in a 60mph zone.
She made a statutory declaration that she was unaware of a court hearing at Bodmin last month when she was convicted in her absence.
The sentence which followed was rescinded and in the fresh hearing at Truro she was fined £60 with £105 costs and charges and given three points on her licence.
