The PE coaches at Truro High School for Girls are expected to be turning heads thanks to a new partnership with estate agents and surveyors Savills.

The school has a reputation for fashion thanks to its award-winning textiles department, but the new deal will see the estate agency linking up with the school to provide stylish new sports kit for the school’s coaching staff.

Head of PE Katherine Barbery-Redd, said: “We are delighted to welcome Savills on board. Our girls enjoy their sport at the very highest levels in Cornwall and beyond and I am very pleased that while they make their mark on the pitch, we will be dressed to impress on the sidelines.”

The kit will be seen at sporting competitions across the UK as well as at the school itself where two pupils were last week told they have been selected to train with the under-17 and under-18 groups at England Hockey's Junior Regional Performance Centre, with the promise of national level competition to come.

Matthew Rowe, associate director of Savills, said: “We are delighted to be linked with Truro High School and given that many of our customers are looking to acquire homes in Cornwall because of the outdoor lifestyle, we believe that joining forces with a school famed for its sporting success is an obvious move.”
