Home Instead Senior Care, which provides home care to older people across Truro, has been recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the regulator of health and social care in England.

The report summarises a comprehensive inspection by the commission, commending the care provider and confirming that they provide "outstanding levels of care" to all of their clients in the local area. The regulator awarded the company with an overall "good" rating, with many clients and their relatives showering the company with high praise.

The local care company was also recognised for the way staff respect and protect the dignity of their clients at all times.

Home Instead met all the required standards of care set by the CQC and received high praise from feedback collated from both their clients and staff. These results are extremely important as they provide a clear indication that a care company is operating as it should, and gives clients, and their families, confidence that they are choosing a care service with high standards.

Tim Roe, owner of Home Instead Senior Care, said: “This report is testament to the quality of care and commitment that our team give to our clients every day. Having our work acknowledged by the report is a fantastic boost for all of us, and it also reassures people who are looking for care for themselves or a loved one. People need to be totally confident in the care teams they employ.

“All CQC reports are available on their website, cqc.org.uk, and I would urge anyone looking for care to visit the site before deciding on a provider.”
