National Animal Welfare Trust

NAWT, Wheal Alfred Kennels in Hayle carries on the work started by Molly Wyatt, who died in July 1996. Her name was synonymous with animal rescue in Cornwall and the Trust is proud to be able to continue the work. They house up to 24 dogs and 20+ cats taking in strays from all over Cornwall. They use an Open Paw training method with their dogs which is very positive training, there are food pots on the front of their kennels so that customers can give each one a treat as they come round. They are open from 11am-3pm every day for visitors.
