Shipmates of the Falmouth branch of the Royal Naval Association enjoyed a visit to the Falmouth Lifeboat Station where they spent an afternoon learning more about the work of the volunteers.

The sun shone down as the association members were given a tour around the lifeboats and the station facilities, and the association said it was an informative visit with everyone having a great time.

While at the station, the branch vice chairman Ian Hewsontook the opportunity to present a cheque to Robert Thompson, the lifeboats visits officer, on behalf of all the branch members.
