This year's Poppy Appeal is about to begin in Falmouth and the organisers are appealing for volunteer sellers for the area.
Organiser Wendy Frost is asking for volunteers to help sell poppies in Falmouth town centre during the weekends of the appeal, as well as selling the appeal's products in Sainsbury’s from October 29 to November 13.
The Royal British Legion will be distributing poppy boxes to businesses throughout the town, but Wendy is calling on any companies in Falmouth who might not have had them before and would like to sell them to contact her and arrange for a box to be delivered.
She added that wreaths for remembrance could also be ordered by contacting her directly.
To contact Wendy call 07759 428 026 or 01326 210 251, email falmouthpoppyappeal@hotmail.com or call in at Rose’s News on Killigrew Street in Falmouth.
