SPIRAL UK Ltd, bespoke staircase manufacturers based in Helston, are going into 2017 with a bulging order book and enhanced national awareness after winning over £1m of new contracts in December and being featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs programme.

Eric Nicholls, managing director of Spiral UK, said: “From luxury staircases for multi-million pound apartments to highly specialist structures for offshore wind turbines to a major contract with the MOD, our recent orders recognise the enormous diversity we offer in staircase manufacturing.

“To have our work featured on Grand Designs concludes years of stairway specialism, highlighting our work in one of the country’s finest architectural builds. We are simply delighted. The new orders, all of which are with clients we have worked with before, speak volumes for our reputation and quality. Despite the uncertainty following the Brexit vote, we are looking forward to 2017 with a full order book and strong levels of enquiries following the Grand Designs broadcast.”

Kevin McCloud, the face behind the popular Channel 4 TV show, made specific mention of Spiral UK’s stunning central spiral staircase, calling it a “helical masterpiece.”

Mr Nicholls added: “Everyone at Spiral is extremely proud to see their work recognised on such a prestigious programme and to see the order book grow so rapidly is the icing on the cake of a fantastic year of investment, recruitment, awards and company development.”
