After over 20 years located on Falmouth’s High Street, co-owners and sisters, Sam Quant and Jessie Doney, have relocated JJ’s Salon and rebranded it as The Priory.
Both sisters trained under the original owner, Jill Prior, who happens to be their mother, before taking over the salon three years ago. The new premises in Bickland Water Road have increased capacity by 50 per cent.
In a short time, the team outgrew the original salon and deciding to relocate has enabled greater availability and a wider range of services. An official opening celebration saw the team welcome customers to the new premises.
Sam said: “We really value our customers and their loyalty. As a long-standing, Falmouth-based business, our regulars really do feel like extended family.”
Jill Prior added: “The girls have done such an amazing job. When I started JJ’s 24 years ago we had one small room with barely enough room for three stylists. It’s fantastic seeing customers’ excitement for the next phase of journey.”
