Day two of the Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival began this morning, complete with a precession along Church Street and a shanty rendition of Rock Around the Clock.
The festivities began shortly after 11am this morning, as hundreds of people, led by the RNLI, marched from the Prince of Wales Pier to Events Square.
When the parade arrived at Events Square the Falmouth Marine Band were the first to take to the stage, and played to an expectant crowd.
After the finished their performance the group presented Betty Stoggs with a cheque for £200, to go towards the money raised for the RNLI.
The RNLI are this year celebrating their 150th anniversary and trying to raise £100,000 towards the cost of improvements towards their station.
The festivities continue throughout the day today, with performances from many groups in various pubs and exhibition spaces.
