Representatives of Threemilestone Methodist Church were presented with a cheque for £2,500, which will go towards refurbishment costs.
The cheque was presented by Cornwall C100 Club Members, Cornwall Traditional Cottages and Swallowcourt Ltd.
The church hall is a hub for the village, used regularly by a toddler group, cubs, beavers, brownies, a lunch club, dance group, a ballet group, a Cornish music group and an after schools club.
Gill Harris, chair of the property committee, said: “Our church hall is widely used and in need of refurbishment to both improve facilities and reduce our carbon footprint.
"The Hall is now even more important as our community is set to increase with plans for 1500 new homes.
"We are very grateful to the Cornwall C100 Club for their support.”
The C100 Club, the business club of the Cornwall Community Foundation, is a network of like-minded businesses believing in social responsibility at a grass roots level.
Businesses come together to offer financial support to Cornish communities, making a real, positive and measurable difference to life in Cornwall.
Dave Bullen, head of finance for care-provider Swallowcourt Ltd, said: “I am delighted to present this cheque on behalf of Cornwall C100 Club.
"It is great to visit and see first-hand such an active, thriving and well-used community facility.
"This is just the kind of project C100 members are keen to support as it provides a long-lasting benefit.”
