Photography fans are being asked to contribute to a charity calendar that will raise money for St Keverne's Christmas lights.

Michelle Patterson, who heads up the lights committee, is looking for any photographs taken in the village or surrounding parish, including at Coverack, Porthallow or anywhere in between. One will be needed to represent each month, so images taken at different times of the year would be particularly welcome.

Ox Roast could be used for August, a green woodland walk could represent a spring month, while a photo taken at one of last year's Christmas events would be perfect for December.

Michelle also hopes to ask local schoolchildren to draw pictures to include on each page.

The 2018 calendar will then be sold to help keep St Keverne shining each festive season.

There is a quick turnaround on the calendar, however, with a deadline for photos to be sent to Michelle at michelleburgess76@yahoo.co.uk by Friday, August 14. Keen photographers and families alike are therefore asked to go back through their archives for images that might have been taken over the last year or so.
