Advertising is getting dangerously out of hand in Falmouth town centre, according to one councillor.

Steve Eva told a meeting of the town council on Monday evening that advertising A-boards through the town are become a hazard to pedestrians, and urged town manager Richard Gates to do something about them.

He said: "We need to do something about the A-frames, people are walking out in front of cars, people are falling over.

"An old gent fell over in front of Fuel the other day.

"They used to take them all away."

He added: "It's a serious issue that needs enforcing."

Mr Gates told the council that Cormac had previously been through the town to look at the issue.
