An elderly man who went missing in Mullion during a raging storm was found following a three-hour search last night by emergency services.
Coastguard rescue teams from Mullion and Porthleven were joined by the coastguard search and rescue helicopter, Cornwall Search and Rescue Team and police for the hunt that began at 11.15pm.
Thankfully the man was found at 2.30am, with Mullion Coastguards describing him as "very wet and cold."
A spokesman said: "He was rescued by the team to warmth and to receive medical care."
Earlier in the day Devon and Cornwall Police asked for the public's help in finding Terrance Keen, who had been missing since 1pm and who they described as "high risk."
