- Cornwall Council is meeting today to decide whether to give £3million towards the Stadium for Cornwall.
- All 123 councillors from all over Cornwall will decide whether the council should go ahead and grant the funding.
- The partners behind the stadium – Cornish Pirates, Truro City FC and Truro and Penwith College - have themselves vowed to put in £2m each for what will be a £14m project.
- The council has been clear that if councillors agree to provide the £3m this will only be handed over if central government follows with its own £3m.
- BBC local democracy reporter Richard Whitehouse is at County Hall covering the debate and vote.
